About Us: Goodie Bag is a marketplace for local surplus food, connecting local shops and customers to reduce food waste and promote sustainable practices. We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic and creative Product Intern to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in product testing, UI/UX, and gathering and analyzing customer feedback.

Position Summary: As a Product Intern at Goodie Bag, you will play an integral role in supporting our product development team as we work to enhance user experiences and partner satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting app testing to ensure seamless user experiences and identifying potential areas for improvement.

  • Gathering and analyzing customer and partner feedback through calls and surveys, providing insights to inform product development.

  • Assisting in UI/UX design efforts to enhance the usability and appeal of our app.

  • Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.

  • Collaborating with the product, marketing, and engineering teams to implement features and optimize the product for our users.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in technology, mobile apps, and user experience (UX/UI).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers, partners, and team members.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance during app testing.

  • Experience with or willingness to learn app testing tools and design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus.

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • A customer-first mindset and passion for improving product experiences based on feedback.

Expectations:

  • 10 - 15 hours a week

  • Availability for team calls
